New Zealand has fabulous doors. I’ve got about 15 more I didn’t post! The texture is cool, the stories (and people behind them) even cooler. Reply
The 3rd one is doors to the ballroom at Larnach Castle in Dunedin. The Ballroom was built for William Larnach’s daughter’s 21st birthday party. 7 years later, she died of typhoid fever and was laid in her coffin there. Those doors have seen a lot! Reply
Love door photos and you’ve got some good ones. I think I like the first one best. Any would make great wall art. Reply
I only walked through one set – the second ones. They led to the ballroom at Larnach Castle in Dunedin, NZ. Reply
You could! Would love to know what they have seen, who has walked through them, what they have hidden. Reply
Thanks! Larnach Castle has a Alice in Wonderland theme going on, with different items scattered throughout the gardens. We think that was one of them? Reply
Wow – what amazing shots. I particularly love the second one. That door has secrets. Just beautiful. Reply
Thanks Trish! I’ve never considered them before, but in NZ I got hooked and fascinated with them. Reply
