What a weekend. The summer haze snuck in like a thief in the night, and stole away our gorgeous crisp spring skies, replacing them with a browny/grey layer of itself. Haze. Which is just a fancy word for POLLUTANTS. The Gold Coast looks like LA. Dirty, hot, stinky. Except that it’s not overly hot yet, and it’s not at all stinky. But winter is gone, that’s for sure, and spring, well, I’m not sure what happened to it. It was here one minute, gone the next. Someone really ought to remind it next time, that it is scheduled for a 3 month stay, not a 3 week stay.
So at work yesterday, when the sun started to set, it wasn’t a beautiful yellow sun sinking into a sky of blues/pinks/oranges/yellows, but a red hot sun sinking into the
haze pollutants. This picture doesn’t quite do it justice, but you get the idea.
If you get a chance, pop on over to Lou and play along with Point and Shoot.
