Day 3, take 2. Already tried this once, and went on and on about how lucky I am to have always been able to make good friends no matter where I’ve gone in life – high school, college on the other side of the world, working in a town where I knew no one, moving back home to Australia…yep, always had really great friends that I can truly count on to be there when I’ve needed them. Then I tried to edit the post and add pictures and I deleted half of it. That’s what I get for tooting my own horn about how great I am at making friends.
Here’s a collage, in which everyone at some point or another has been important to me. Most of them still are. There’s also a LOT of people missing. But there’s just not enough room for pics of all the wonderful people I’ve been lucky enough to call friends over the years.
And here is a pic of some of the high school girls that I’ve reconnected with since moving back to Aus. This was on a girls night out back in February. We have another one coming up in a few weeks. Our girls nights are definitely too few and too far in between (note: that woman in the very back? yeah, she’s not with us, we have no idea who she is. Gotta love Atrium Bar at the Casino! second note: yes, someone has been edited out. Some high school drama didn’t manage to stay in the past).
